Precision-made MCB Distribution Boards for safe, organized power distribution. Available in SPN (single-phase) and TPN (three-phase) configurations, single and double door, from 2-pole boxes through 18-way boards — all fabricated from CRCA sheet steel with an ivory white powder-coat finish and built to IS 8623.
An MCB distribution board (DB) is a sheet-metal enclosure that houses Miniature Circuit Breakers to safely split incoming power into multiple protected outgoing circuits, guarding against overload and short circuits in homes, offices, and industries.
SPN (Single Pole + Neutral) boards are for single-phase 230 V supplies — typical of homes and small commercial spaces. TPN (Triple Pole + Neutral) boards are for three-phase 415 V supplies used in industrial and high-load commercial installations. Kataria Metals manufactures both.
The number of 'ways' equals the number of outgoing MCB circuits. We offer SPN boards from 2-pole boxes up to 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, and 18 ways, and TPN boards in 4, 6, 8, and 12 ways — single or double door. As a rule of thumb, pick a board with a few spare ways for future circuits.
Single-door boards are compact and space-saving. Double-door boards add an outer door for extra safety, a cleaner look, and controlled access — preferred where the board is exposed or access needs to be restricted.
All boards are fabricated from high-quality CRCA sheet steel with an ivory white powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and durability, with IP20 indoor protection, earth terminals, and neutral links as standard.
Our MCB distribution boards are manufactured in accordance with IS 8623, the Indian standard for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. We also operate ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
Yes. Beyond standard SPN/TPN boards we manufacture HPPI, V-TPN, and Flexi distribution boards, GI junction boxes, and fully customised panels designed and built to your drawings and load requirements.
